Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of this website and to every order you place through it. The store is operated by Lupin Systems ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. Signage is your responsibility to specify
Please read this section before you order.
We sell dangerous goods placards, hazard labels and related signage. We do not determine what signage your site, vehicle or container is legally required to display.
Which signs you need, what size they must be, where they must be placed, and when they must be updated are set by the dangerous goods and work health and safety laws of your state or territory, and depend on what you store and how much of it. Those obligations rest with you as the occupier, operator or duty holder.
Product descriptions, size guides and reference material on this site are general information to help you find the right product. They are not legal advice, not a compliance assessment, and not a substitute for the regulations that apply to you or for advice from your regulator or adviser.
It is your responsibility to confirm that what you order is correct for your application before you order it.
2. Prices and GST
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where GST applies. Shipping is shown separately at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted.
3. Orders
All orders are paid in full online at checkout. We don't offer invoicing or credit accounts.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a confirmation that your order has been accepted, or when we dispatch the goods, whichever happens first.
We may decline or cancel an order, and will refund you in full if we do. Reasons include a pricing or description error on the site, goods becoming unavailable, or our inability to ship to your address.
4. Custom-printed items
Some products are printed to order using wording you supply.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the wording, UN numbers, product names, contact numbers and any other content you give us. We print exactly what you enter when you order.
- You warrant that you have the right to use any text, logo or artwork you supply, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- Production starts once your order is placed, so it cannot be cancelled or changed after that.
- Custom-printed items cannot be returned for change of mind. See our Refund Policy.
5. Product appearance
Colours on screen vary between devices and will not exactly match the printed article. Where a sign is made to a published standard, the printed colour is produced to that standard rather than to the image shown on this site.
Dimensions are nominal and subject to normal manufacturing tolerance.
6. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
7. Liability
Subject to section 6, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability in connection with any product is limited, at our option, to replacing the product, supplying an equivalent product, repairing it, or refunding what you paid for it.
Subject to section 6, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, business interruption, or any penalty, fine or enforcement action arising from signage that was not correct for your application.
8. Intellectual property
The content of this site, including text, layout and images, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reproduced for commercial use without our written permission. You keep ownership of any artwork or wording you supply for a custom item, and you licence us to use it for the purpose of producing your order.
9. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this site when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state.
